The 2021 UN Country Results Reports for Myanmar highlights the UN’s contribution in 2021, a period where the people of Myanmar experienced an unprecedented political, socioeconomic, human rights, and humanitarian crisis.
The situation in Myanmar remains uncertain and the political, socioeconomic, human rights and humanitarian crisis continues. However, the UN is determined to strengthen its efforts to serve the people of Myanmar, using the lessons learnt in 2021 to ensure that the support becomes increasingly impactful and that the UN continues to keep delivering humanitarian assistance, support the most vulnerable, build resilience, and promote conditions for an inclusive and sustainable recovery when the situation allows.
