National Urban Policy Framework

Based on the Rapid Urban Diagnostic Report Myanmar (February 2016), the National Urban Policy Framework outlines five priority areas for further work on the National Urban Policy. The purpose of the framework document is to serve as discussion paper on the ministerial level. Simultaneously, the framework document can be used as a starting point for policy dialogues with a wide range of stakeholders in civil society. A key function of a NUP is to serve as an instrument for future decision-making, translating broad principles into more concrete directives and guidelines.
